Curly Scarf

Curly Scarf, made from Debbie Bliss Maya, 100% wool, on 6mm needles.

I like it, but it could be better, it’s a learning experience one.

I think this scarf style would be good on a fine mohair using yarn over increases rather than knitting into the back and front of one stitch.

  1. I like your Curly Scarf - have you posted the pic up on StitchNBitchIE? I’m beginning to feel left out - will have to put a curly scarf on the TO DO list, I’m determined to finish off at least one WIP before I start though. How long did it take to knit up?

  2. Hi Sharon - It was pretty fast to make - but I started it on straights, then had to order circulars to finish it as there were just too many stitches, so I’m not sure how long I spent on it with the hiatus in the middle. Only a couple of hours I think. I’ve put a picture up on the StitchNBitchIE site, but it’s a different one - smaller file size.

  3. Looks very good Isobel!
I saw your pic on StitchnBitch first and the pics look very different. Have you worn it yet?
